I Garden Therefore I Am

How beautiful is this tunnel.  Full of plectranthus.  Yep you guessed it is Babylonstoren again.  I am still amazed how strong the fish line is.........
Right:  Back to reality.  New Swiss Chard planted and a thick layer of Double grow compost slightly dug in.  This should prep the beds for the long winter.

Babylonstoren and Gogga Hotel

BABYLONSTOREN:  It really is a wonderful place but unfortunately getting a little too busy on week-ends so my advice is, if you can go on a weekday.  Now this is a pumpkin of note.  Nature conservation officer looking mightily impressed. Great place:  www.babylonstoren.co

GOOGA HOTEL:  Clever idea.  This was quite big.  Just need a little one for our kiddies at school but the home carpenter has been too busy recently.  Must nag a bit more.  Will keep you posted.

New Babies

A new baby:  Double orange Hibiscus.  While buying this one we made friends with a nice couple who took us to their house to get cutting from their double yellow. For FREE.....They are now rooting in the back garden.  Bonus if they take as the doubles are quite expensive.
Talking of expensive.  This plant was over R200.  Given to us as a gift by a special sister.  Seems to be the latest trend:  Planting in moss and hanging with fish line.  Didn't realize that fishing line could hold such a weight.  We water it once a week by soaking it in a bucket.
